The Cara 100 exhibits robust sector rotation with airline sector breakout
Exceptional market breadth confirms bullishness of global equity markets
Processing Note: AI processing of this batch (a single R-File) was done correctly, as were a few others in preparing this weekend’s Navigator Report. As the Claude AI generated page after page for over an hour based on my 18-page bullet-proof prompt, I relaxed the personal data integrity verification, spot-checking only the last prices, presuming that if the first several columns of a CSV were accurately processed, the remainder of that row would be as well. However, after several properly produced batches, Claude hallucinated, resulting in completely bogus output. This was achieved by inserting foreign
data into a verified CSV row, using data from previous weeks’ input files, and failing to follow explicit instructions. While assembling the report, which requires additional edit checks, I noted that my August proprietary scoring matrix had been replaced with a previous version. Upon further checking, I saw that it was only a small part of the problem.
With five years of public auditing experience at KPMG and PwC under my belt, I’m not easily fooled. I demanded answers, and matters went straight downhill after that. You see, my question to Claude was simple: “How can a strictly controlled computer system that is operating correctly suddenly override all checks and balances, introduce foreign data, and allow that bad data to pass the most extensive data integrity checks I spent months creating?” Claude had no answer but then started — ON ITS OWN — to produce accurate data until it suddenly shut down and froze me out, apparently for 30 hours — if I’m lucky.
I wasn't an outstanding auditor in my early career, but I excelled in understanding system processes, flow-charting, and similar tasks, which led me to switch to management consulting for several years until Mr. Market came calling. Those who know me, including my readers for over 20 years, will attest that I have zero tolerance for systems or people who lack integrity and transparency. If I’m personally affected, then I resolve to get to the bottom of it. Claude had no explanation for my situation. There is none, which is why I questioned the possibility of human intervention.
That said, I’m moving on. If Claude fails to perform the job advertised and charged for, I’ll find an alternative solution. AI is advancing at a rapid pace, and I aim to capitalize on this progress and pass the benefits to my subscribers…
Rant over.

Technology: Selective consolidation - quality emerging, speculation declining
Precious Metals: Dollar strength cycle pressuring traditional hedges
Consumer: Mixed signals with defensive positions underperforming
Investment Recommendations: STRONG BUY airline leaders with UAL target $115 and DAL target $68 based on momentum continuation patterns. ADD large-cap healthcare (AstraZeneca, Novartis) for defensive positioning. REDUCE precious metals exposure as dollar strength cycle continues.
