Decision Making Architecture for Successful Trading

April 16, 2014

Equity futures are up this morning, I guess all is right in the world.

The following chart hinted at a bounce:

When the moving average ribbon reaches maximum expansion, price usually reverses.  The reversal may be a short term bounce, or a full reversal lasting for weeks, but you need more than this indicator to tell which it will be.

You can apply this concept to other markets, using long to inverse ETFs.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great trading day!

ALOHA!! The US Treasury version of Wimpy is Lewpy(Lew/Wimpy) and Popeye:
Lewpy-If you will loan me 35 billion hamburgers today I will gladly never pay you next Tuesday and will ask for another 35 billion more on Thursday which I will also never repay!

TUESDAY 4/15/2014 TAX DAY NET DEBT: +$35BIL to YTD $839BIL!!

Can Lewpy even eat that many hamburgers? Yempy(Yellen/Wimpy) has another $4TRIL hamburgers rotting away at her bank while Lewpy adds another 17.6TRIL hamburgers rotting away at his account over at Yempy’s bank too! Yempy has a lot of rotting flesh at the Fedy!!!

It’s all just about as inane as the cartoon …
