Daily Report
The European bourses and most of the Asia-Pacific markets have had a positive start to the week. The US Dollar is strong and precious metal prices have weakened at this point.
In Asia-Pacific markets, the Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong Hang Seng closed up +4.59% and +2.28% respectively, while the Sensex 30 of India was up +0.54% to 13526 and the Tokyo Nikkei 225 gained +0.93% to 13360. The All Ords of Australia lost -1.51% to 5091.70.
In Europe at mid-day, the UK FTSE, French CAC and German DAX were at 5454 (+0.77%), 4301 (+0.82%) and 6331 (+0.93%), respectively.
The $USD gained +0.5% to 73.355 and the Euro dropped -0.29% to 1.5593.
Crude Oil futures are down -$1.075 to 143.075. The DJIA futures are close to flat at 11291.
