Cara's Daily Report and Commentary, Tues., Nov 6, 2007
The market has come down with the Citi Blues. As for me, sub-prime has never been an issue. I’m strictly an asset man.
My problem, however, is trying to juggle more than seven balls at once. It was the eighth one I dropped. Woe is me. Hence, I’ll be on partial hiatus -- one blog a day and no more meetings -- until I manage to get from behind that eight ball.
Today, the gold markets are rocketing. The $USD is cratering. Speculation abounds as to how far this action can take the USD and gold.
One thing is for certain is that trading has come down to minute by minute action, for now.
International Economics Review
There is little in the way of economics data being reported today. The big news comes Thursday, including decisions by the two major central banks of Europe as to interest rates. But the news traders want to hear today is just how bad are the credit market-related write-downs going to be within HB&B.

Wrap up:
I have a ton of work to get caught up on, and I also need to build some productivity tools. It should take the rest of the week. Unfortunately, that will mean more scrolling for each of you as I am only going to do one blog a day for the rest of the week, and there will be many charts to download each time, which takes extra time.
Life is all about managing time.
Your willingness to share your time and your knowledge has been terrific. We as a community hold the key to our individual success in trading capital markets.
Have a great day, stay connected and hold that thought.
