Higher flyers are of interest, Mon., Feb. 5, 2007, 10:33 AM
After yesterday’s Super Bowl, I’m about hyped out. No more, no more. Please. There is only so much hyperbole a person should be forced to swallow in a single day.
So, knowing what was going to happen, just before the ball game yesterday I turned back to nature and captured the daily geese fly-by.

It’s a little colder out there today. Wind chill is about -30. I’m not looking forward to going into town for meetings, but, being on the mend, I have a desire to get the year started – even if I happen to be a month late.

Thank you for the beautiful photographs.
Nature is such a wonder.
But... so are WE!

It has been suprisingly cold here the past few days. I really wonder how the geese are fairing. They were NOT meant for these temperatures.

ALOHA !!
WOW ... does that ever look cold!!! -30 I believe it ... Watch your drive into town ... I only drove in snow once when I was in City Island, New York outfitting an 80 ft. sloop. I was driving a van with no weight in the back ... suicidal!!!
I am always amazed at how God's creatures can survive such extremes. The geese are beautiful birds. Do the Canuks eat them?
It's whalewatching season here in Hawaii ... I can see whales from my trash dump(station). Only dump I have ever been to with an ocean view!!!
