Yesterday afternoon I went to see Pans Labyrinthe having seen del Toro's "The Devil's Backbone" some years ago. It was a delightful experience, and I watched the Academy awards for the first time (okay I watched Mirren in her detective role on PBS) to see how PL would fare. Quite well with 3 wins. If subtitles do not interfere in your enjoyment of movies (presuming you are not fluent in Spanish) then do see the movie.
