Changes to the Cara 100, Wed., Feb. 14, 2007, 6:16 PM
Tomorrow I will make the following changes to the Cara 100: Delete TOL, BMET and NEM (as well as HD, which had been deleted earlier but not replaced) and Add: ABB, BRL, HDB and IBN. ADDENDUM
That will make 57 US-based companies, down from 60. This year, I will endeavour to make it 50 US and 50 international. I will write up each of the companies later this week.
ADDENDUM
Sorry, I had 101 because I hadn't updated my files to replace HD with COST. So, I'll drop BRL Barr Labs, which btw is a sound, high-quality company.

Discourse
With all the defections in Dell's management, the SEC investigation, and M. Dell's decisions to take away executive bonus packages, I'll be surprised if Dell makes the Cara 1,000,000 shortly. HP is better managed (now), and is taking the consumer market away from Dell as I poke this keyboard.
I don't own any HP....

For some reason I have 101 companies instead of 100. Is there updated full list available somewhere on this web-site?
Thanks.
