For the birds, Thurs., Jan. 25, 2007, 12:25 PM
I have been relaxing today, trying to regain strength for the task of editing my manuscript. The publisher is very happy and a cover jacket was selected that everybody likes. So I figure it was time to return to my birds.
As you know, I live in a bird sanctuary. There are, most days, anywhere from several hundred to a couple thousand ducks close to the shoreline immediately in front of me. And always there are swans and geese.
The first shot is the picture I see when I look straight above my computer monitor. Theat picture was taken a couple hours ago but the ducks are still here. I had to quickly grab my camera for the second one as moments ago a couple hundred geese flew directly at me and then soared about 25 feet above.
As my wife says; my life has gone to the birds.

Thinking about transport, the Dow transports are not looking as good as my birds. You recall the Colin Twiggs 5000 resistance. On Tuesday, the DJ Transports backed off once again.

Awesome bird pics, Bill. Very grounding (relaxing).
