Community Chat, Fri., Nov. 10, 2006, 7:09 AM

At the end of the calendar year, my excellent web host (MDA) is withdrawing from the business, so I am interviewing possible replacements. Specifically I'm looking for a person or organization to help me manage the evolution and technical operation of this blog and website.

So, if you would like to chat in private, please feel free to contact me. BCara@BillCara.com

The BillCara.com blog is now accessed daily by over 10,000 unique visitors (servers), with over 60,000 uniques monthly " probably $1 trillion or more in Assets Under Management or Administration. The visitors come from 143 countries, but roughly 67 pct are U.S., 14 pct Canada, 2 pct Germany, 1 pct UK, 1 pct from China and Hong Kong, and 15 pct from the rest, so this is truly an international blog.

Access wise, we run 150 GB of downloads monthly and at a rate of 60 million hits per year (average over past six months). These numbers are constantly growing " with zero advertising, and just me (trust me) doing 100 pct of the work (part-time at that).

As to what we have achieved, a number of mainstream and blog media sites have us top-rated in the world for what we do. Every day I receive letters of support from financial editors and top-rated industry people, and hundreds of letters from readers.

This has been such a remarkable experience for the past 30 months of blogging, but I still feel the potential development is endless.

In addition to the book I am writing, which will be available through this website, I have a few initiatives underway that readers have indicated in letters and a survey they wish to see.

As to proposals to become the new web host, everything is open for discussion, including web publishing software (which needs to be advanced), CRM/mail management (I need a system because I don't have one presently), and so forth. I am completely open-minded to any change that better meets the needs of the readers.

I may have been "retired" for the past six years, but I haven't stopped enjoying and growing my life. I intend to stick to this journey until I become incapacitated or pass because I too am a true student-of-the-market. Every day I learn something new about capital markets and social equity.

You can't beat that.

Please feel free to send me a proposal where we can share this journey. If I happen to select you, I assure you it will be quite a ride.

Bill: What can I say "You Are a Machine!"
Thanks so much for all that you do. I am newbie investing wise and all that I learn here and the thinking that the discussions here promote are absolutely Priceless!

Also following the direction on watching RSI indicators I bought DVN several weeks ago, the first position taken in my wife's new IRA account and all I can say is YEAH! :-)

Sincerely,
Your friend,
Steve

Steve speaks for a lot of us.

There are so many blogs out there, that I've shut out the noise by paying attention to only a few and, on really busy days, only one.

Yours, of course.

Gosh I'm grateful that you've taken this on.

Thank you!
