The Japanese economy continues to expand, but domestic workers are not benefiting as much because so much of the expansion is happening abroad, which I suppose is what has happened in the USA.
Citigroup's Levkovich disagrees with Merrill's Rosenberg.
Canada's inflation rate improves (on short-term price pullback of fuel costs?) but the core rate is still a problem and consumer activity is moderating. Unless the Bank of Canada says inflation is no longer a problem, I will continue to say that current conditions reflect my definition of Stagflation, albeit borderline.
