Gone are the double-digit S&P 500 1Q07 earnings forecasts. Take note that it is the U.S. exporters and companies with significant international exposure that are the ones holding up. The truth is the U.S. economy is in trouble, and there is a concerted effort by vested interests to contain the damage.

The Big Picture on M3--continues to grow signifcantly. I like the last paragraph concerning the Fed "not only NOT taking the punch bowl away -- they are spiking it with alcohol. I am not looking forward to the hangover that's to follow . . ."
