The always enlightening John Hussman. This is the first thing I turn to on Monday morning. Definite emphasis on long term returns and preservation of capital. Pays strict attention to probability of returns in the investing environment. Likes the environment for gold shares right here.

Another reason for the stock rally? Mutual Funds MUST invest now cause they missed the upmove mostly so far. Hunting for the year end performance i guess:

The big news today is the N. Korean missile tests. Perhaps it will give us US folks a break from the fallout in the Foley sex scandal.
