The Crystallex Redemption, Tuesday, September 5, 2006, 2:13 PM
Recently I felt like a child banging his shoe on the table to get people to listen up about the Crystallex (KRY) goings-on in Venezuela. Those who listened are smiling today.
The story today is not just Crystallex (+15.8 pct at 2:14). There has also been a solid move in Gold Reserve (GRZ), which is up over +9.0 pct today. Gold Reserve is also waiting for permits.
The market is nervous, thinking that these permits may have been issued. Crystallex has not issued a news release, which means they have not yet heard anything factual.
But I'm glad the stock has taken on a life!

Bill, Thank you,
Yes I took your advice,
Yes I am smiling.
Thanks for pointing this one out.

Bill, thank you.
When you were banging your shoes, I heard it loud and clear.
So I bought, and bought some more on retreat.
Today, I am banging my drums and smiling all the way to the bank.

I'm in too and (fortunately) doubled my position last week when it dropped a few cents. Wish I had trippled it!
Thanks

Bill,
You certainly called this one - glad the bottom was in at 2.50, certainly felt like catching a knife at the time!
Any thoughts on this unusual volume? Looks like it's going to hit 9 million shares today -

Bill called this one near a bottom. The high trading volume is very bullish that the envirnmental permit has been issued.

Rob McEwen has a big position in mneaf.ob that
has mines coming online in Argentina. You might
want to take a look.

It's interesting to see other independent thinkers out there not afraid to go for the speculative plays.
KRY= RSI 7=79, 14=78.7, 21=76.8

Wouldn't it be illegal to trade based on insider knowledge of this? Any lawyers around?

DOn't have insider info, but I do have common sense (arguably) and seeing a 4X spike in trading volume and a 20% spike in pps with no news indicates to me that something is going on. Either the permit is near and has been leaked, or this is a bizarre and unlikely pps manipulation.
Researching Las Cristinas, the potential of this site is incredible: gold reserves are huge and easy to mine, the mine is close proximity to both a labor pool and to roads and energy prices are unbelieably cheap. If not for the political perception of Chavez (justified or not), I think Kry would be worth at least $5-6 pre-permit.
