Following up re Aetna, Tues., August 1, 2006, 1:46 PM

A couple hours ago I wrote about Aetna. Here is a follow up.

The Morgan Stanley analyst, writing mid-morning after that disastrous opening on the 27th for AET, thinks that the pull-back has been over-done. I wrote the same thing this morning.

Discourse

After going from 5 to 55 in a couple of years, stocks like AET often take an extended break. This might be worth putting a toe into the water, but in a down market where a flight to quality dominates, a virtually-non-dividend payer like AET is more likely to be laggard.
