My future in video blogs, Thur., July 27, 2006, 4:48 PM
The blog I do presently will not become a video blog. And there will be no advertising other than probably an easy-to-find link to the marketing of my planned advisory service.
What I would like to do with the present blog is receive and upload more pdf research files to write about, in between my own observations, and the Week In Review.
I'd like to write about 20 relatively short blogs about more stocks " all the Cara 100 (and maybe the Cara 250 if I get that far). That's all.
The video is for the advisory service where I may want to talk for several minutes about client stuff " which puts me in front of the client who is not sitting in front of me in Bahamas.
Also, there is an associate of mine who is starting a video blog for basically younger people " on a variety of subjects, and he'd like me to do a minute every day on what I see happening in the market.
I believe that if it is done properly, it could be good marketing for me. And if it isn't, then I can drop it, and replace myself with somebody else. In any case, I will not try to duplicate Cramer. (lol)
The thing is that you never know if something is going to work until you try it. Trading's like that too. :-)

I for one am looking forward to whatever you throw our way, because your efforts are usually well thought out. I just hope that any premium service you provide will be affordable to some of us smaller investors. Perhaps a tiered system could be used to keep it affordable based on the level of service you provide?
Just a thought...

Who is the 'associate of mine' you refer to in your post? Does he/she already have a blog and they're switiching to video? I'm interested.
