Planning a book (or two), Mon., 6/19/2006 6:58 PM

I would really appreciate my readers doing some homework for me. I am starting a book manuscript that will cover the so-called gems and nuggets that readers find in these pages. You are the best judge of that. I just sit at a keyboard and write.

So, if you'd like to help, could you please send me an e-mail (directly and not a comment) of an insight into markets that you picked up from this blog and website. If you could link to the article, that would help but is not essential.

Also please tell me whether you consider yourself having (1) considerable expert (2) good working knowledge (2) average working knowledge, or (4) fairly new to the financial markets.

In the past week or two, I had unsolicited book publishing offers from two companies everybody would know the name of.

One of my ideas is to transfer some of the ideas from the blog to a book (or couple of books). Another is to write a controversial book that will examine how broke the financial market system is, and what should be done to fix it.

I'll try to do both.

I am moving ahead with plans to go into the brokerage and advisory business, and am also considering writing a book that would be related to that. The business part will take less time to get established than the books. I have built a couple trading businesses before, but I have never written a book.

So I figure I have to do three books to catch up. :-)

And the first one you could help me with. TIA, and much appreciated. Just remember if something I wrote resonated with you, it probably will with others too.

Bill, I would say that all your comments and vision are a treasure trove of info.
