More TV excellence shown at ROBTV tonight, Fri., 6/16/2006 6:48 PM

About two years ago I started writing about click fraud. When Google issued GOOG, I got off on the wrong foot for several reasons and one of them was click fraud. Tonight at 6:00pm on ROBTV one of the journalists went through an explanation you might want to catch on Replay.

And in the final five minutes of the previous show (about 5:55pm), Amanda Lang shows why she makes the Cara TV Journalist's Hall of Fame.

Today was the issue date of a government income trust IPO, and Amanda's usual side-kick, outspoken gazillionaire Kevin O'Leary, calling in from the U.S., ranted about how pathetic was this offering. He spewed venom for the government and the underwriters for mis-pricing this issue.

Amanda politely said: "Kevin, you know I love you dearly;" and then proceeded to cut him down at the knees. This is one helluva journalist.

I hope you catch the Replay when it gets uploaded by ROBTV.

Discourse

1) Amanda won't be getting any awards from any lobsters.

2) O'leary , would have had an on air embolism I imagine if he was talking about VG.

Bill,

Regarding click fraud: As an Adsense & Google Analytics User I can tell you that click fraud is no issue as long as the Adwords advertiser is using a click analysis utility (like google analytics) – It is possible to target specific websites(on site ) , specific viewers by geo location and so on. Advertiser can make a cost – performance analysis and they can know exactly how effective their Ads campaign is. Web Advertising (especially PPC) is the most measurable advertising channel in existence.
just my opinion.
