I don't know how well Deepak Lalwani can dance but I sure do like the name of his research company " "Astaire". Today Astaire leads (in my blog anyway) with a report on India. Download Astaire file on India.
India is one of my two or three favorite markets. Traders there love volatility. Presently, however, that volatility is shooting the equity market south faster than gravity.
Since the Astaire report was published a couple days ago, the Bombay Sensex 30 has dropped even more.
In addition to giving the reader some insights into the developing mobile telephone industry in India, the absolute boom in the IBM business there, and the new Foreign Direct Investment and portfolio investment in real estate and REIT's of India, there are some concerns shown about the equity market.

A leading technology company of India, Infosys Technologies, is a Cara 100 component. After the bear market cycles out, INFY will be a great place to make money.

btw, my web stats show my readership in India is much lower than say Belgium, a country of just 10 million vs the 1.1 billion in India. I had to stop to wonder why Belgium is so high, and then it hit me: I must be front-page news at the head offices of European Union staffers. LOL
