Factory orders, Fri., June 2, 2006, 10:56 AM

There was extreme weakness in factory durable goods orders reported this morning, which gives more reason for the Fed to pause. That is a positive for gold.

Gold shares zoomed at the open, then fell off a bit, but are still market leaders. I see no reason for that to change for many days now.

Bill, where does the great gold miners table above come from? I'd like to set one up for myself. Thanks

He actually mentions it just above the table in bold:

"One of my real-time gold monitors, which I set up at ADVFN.com"

You'll probably have to type in the symbols yourself, though.

tc, I added that heading after I received glenn's request. Not being a professional editor, I do the best I can, in the time I have available, and I try to eliminate as many obvious questions as possible.

I was ready to say oops! Thanks Bill

Bill, do you think it would be a good idea to mark edits to your initial blog postings (e.g., "One of my real-time gold monitors, which I set up at ADVFN.com [added in response to glenn-mp at 11:15am]") ? More work for you, but less miscellaneous comments to wade through.
