Aurelian is a new name to watch, Wed., June 21, 2006, 12:16 PM
Exploration play Aurelian Resources discovered an exciting gold property in Ecuador on the Peru border in the past couple months. Today they announced exciting drill results.
The stock, which trades under the ticker symbol ARU.V will be listed soon on the senior Toronto Stock Exchange because of the $20 million financing and the property under 100 pct control.
Amazing how these things go. A few months ago, ARU was trading at C$0.60 cents. Now it is about C$23.
The stock trades also in Frankfurt and OTCBB (AUREF).

I think I'll attend the AGM today at 4:30pm and write it up.
Funny, a year ago the Aurelian CFO David Lewis, who was a colleague of mine at Coopers & Lybrand in the early 1970's, called me to ask about something. Like a blast from the past. I just wish he had told me he was about to ride a rocket. :-)
I guess he never knew; even at PDAC (which Aurelian attended), in early March, the stock was in the low to mid sixty cent range.
You never know.
