Australia goldminer research from UBS, Mon., May 1, 2006, 2:55 PM
One of the stocks covered by the UBS gold analyst in Australia is Lihir Gold. I like it, but only on pull-backs. Here's the report. Download file
Lihir Gold trades in Australia and as an ADR on Nasdaq (LIHRY). According to the description at ADVFN.com, operations consist of a single mine company that produces gold doré as its sole product. The gold is mined and processed on Lihir Island in Papua New Guinea.
UBS likes the high correlation to spot gold as well as the potential for capacity expansion.
The Daily data chart shows that LIHRY is a little over-priced.
