SLV to begin trading tomorrow, Thurs., Apr. 27, 2006, 3:56 PM

Barclay's is finally bringing the silver bullion ETF to the market. It will trade as SLV. I'm not so sure the price will rally on Day 1 " but after the market matures a bit, I think SLV will be a sure-fire winner.

This ETF was supposed to be listed on the AMEX quite some time ago.

Also, the U.S. gold and silver miner index was supposed to be listed for trading the week of March 14 (AMEX: GDM) according to the Exchange's head of listings who told me so in a one-to-one conversation at PDAC, which I reported.

U.S. traders will like that one because it rivals the Toronto Stock Exchange goldminer index (TSX: XGD), and many have brokers who do not make it easy to buy Canadian-listed securities.

I'll be trading all these securities, but in particular, I like the junior and intermediate precious metal mining group because they have the best upside leverage, given the surge in precious metals prices that I foresee for a few years more.

The US Dollar got a P&F Sell signal today.

If oil drops a bit more we will see the USD bounce
a bit....but the strong trend from now on looks
to be goin' down. Yikes!
