Freeport Bahamas Industrial-Commercial Infrastructure video, Fri., Apr. 7, 2006, 10:11 AM
Many readers have enjoyed the hospitality of Nassau and Paradise Island in The Bahamas. Very few have travelled to Grand Bahama Island.
As you know, I will soon be starting a new life in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island and I'm going to invite capital market traders from all over the world to join me. My partners in a venture of my creation are the Grand Bahama Port Authority. GBPA partners Hutchison Whampoa Bahamas will be involved.
I urge everybody to watch this 7½-minute video from Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH). Some of you will be surprised to discover that Freeport is no longer the fishing village of 3,000 it was just 50 years ago.
What I have planned will be, in terms of value add to Freeport, comparable to what you see in this video. But to do that, I'm going to need your help to get the word out. I have a terrific story to tell. So I have been busy putting together a website linked to this one that will tell that story. It should be ready within a week.
