Cara 100 winners on a tough day, Mon., Apr. 17, 2006,7:00 PM
Even on a day that the U.S. market got knocked on its can, fifteen (15) of the Cara 100 were up +2 pct or more. And except for INFY, BDK and CTSH, these were metals and oils. Today was a killer for real estate, financial services, and U.S. bonds.
But you knew that before today. Right?
The Cara 100 btw has eighteen (18) stocks at $100 billion in market cap or more, and only two under $2.5 billion (NTES and TGP). In fact, only 24 are under $10 billion, including just 12 under $5 billion in market cap.
These are not small caps or microcaps. And I don't discuss penny stocks here.
