BMO Small Cap Book can steer you right, Tues., Apr. 25, 2006, 10:13 AM
Years ago, when working for Dean Witter (Morgan Stanley now) in Toronto, I would receive about a half dozen 'special situation' requests daily from brokers at our U.S. firm. One of the reps in Texas thought he was buying a Canadian $20 stock for his clients, when it was trading at 20 cents. Another was loaded with paper that took me ten minutes to figure was a fraud. There is no need for this.
When I mentioned the precious metal junior resource companies earlier, I was generally referring to those that are headquartered in Canada. Far be it for me to mislead anybody into buying pure junk, so here is the BMO Small Cap Book (March). It's 195 pages, so may take some time to download. Download file
Later today I will also publish links to the BMO research on any of the Cara 100 components. I feel there is every need to read all you can that is published by professional sources about any stock you might be considering buying for your portfolio.
I see $GOLD is up $11.60. I am happy to have taken the stand I did yesterday.
