Actual pain in the gas, Fri., Apr. 28, 2006, 2:35 PM
"Monroe" just sent me a graphic of what he calls the California SUV Fill-up Index. Looks to me like a real pain in the gas.
Maybe the answer is to stop buying SUV's.
In my case, I'm looking forward to driving an electric golf-cart or taking an electric water taxi everywhere I go. But then I'll be in "utopia". Right?
I'll be 50 feet from a boat and three miles to the airport. Can't beat that.
I'm also looking forward to hearing those words, "No new taxes," and actually have the person mean it. That's because where I'm going, there is no income tax act. LOL
