The state of banking in the Caribbean, Thurs., Mar. 23, 2006, 11:56 AM
As of this month, I have a vested interest in promoting the Caribbean financial sector, and the Bahamas in particular. My new home base will be Grand Bahama Island, and I'll write about that a lot after I manage to create a new home page that splits off this non-commercial free blog from my interest in the other.
If you'd like to query anything I know about this market, and the remarkable investment opportunities that are there, please feel free to write me in confidence at B.Cara@BillCara.com.
Today I thought you'd like to read what BMO Nesbitt Burns research has to say about "Banking in the Caribbean", which, you may know, is where the big Canadian banks (Scotia, RBC and CIBC) are very well-positioned.
