Long-term trends for Goldminers is still positive, Fri., Mar. 3, 2006, 10:40AM
For four days starting Sunday, I'll be ensconced with the goldminers at the PDAC convention, and I'll be reporting daily to you. But for now, let's leave it that the long-term trend is up, the gold bullion (and the price of other precious metals) is strong.
Comments by Pierre Lassonde (Newmont) and Rob McEwen (U.S. Gold Cp) may be interpreted by some as being negative, but I think all they are really saying is that, like any market group, the bull phase is a matter of one step back for every two steps forward. At PDAC, I'm sure they will elaborate.
If you are a day trader you pay attention to those nuances; but the long-term trader keeps an eye on the big picture intead, which in this case is still bullish.

Here are some interactive data charts for the precious metals group. It is not complete. But a week from now, I'll update and add to the list.

Let's see, you give readers the tools to make the calls, direction on what to look for, trading protocols, stocks to follow and market analysis. The only thing not done by you is PULLING THE TRIGGER but everyone has to make that decision for themselves. I don't find your web stats remarkable in the least given all this. :) Thanks again.
