Far East markets follow the Dow south, Fri., Mar. 3, 2006, 7:39 AM

Yesterday was a tough day for the U.S. Bulls. Today the same thing happened in Asia Pacific countries. Japan (Nikkei 225) was down -1.6 pct, South Korea (Seoul) was down -2.8 pct, and Taiwan was down -1.3 pct.

In Dow equivalent points, that would be a range of -150 to about -313.

U.S. equity futures are almost flat at this point. Traders are waiting for the economic data on the services (non-manufacturing) industry.

Bill-

Yesterday, you wrote, "If the chip stocks don't continue to lift off, the Big Apple is about to come down." Hmmm...

INTC, the 800# gorilla, has spoken - not good news - but the indices seem to be holding up rather well?! Curiouser & curiouser...

(something about tops taking a long time to form?)
