Is Dino Kos America's most powerful man?, Tues., Mar. 14, 2006, 11:19 AM
How many of you know the name Dino Kos? That is surprising because he could very well be the most powerful individual in America. He's the guy who hits the ‘buy' and ‘sell' button for the Federal Reserve Bank's Federal Open Markets Committee (FOMC).
Dino Kos is Executive Vice President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and Manager of what the Fed calls the System Open Market Account.
His responsibilities are outlined in the January 31 FOMC Minutes.

Dino Koz? Never heard of him but he sure seems like he has some clout but its more the name that I like which has a nice ring to it.
