Life is a matter of perspective, Fri., Feb. 24, 2006, 7:28 AM
Yesterday, with me anxiously working on upgrading my computer systems, my IT specialist (Mike Wassef) kept saying, "What a wonderful view you have" and I kept asking technical questions.
Reminded me of a remark made by my wife to a lawyer in Nassau Bahamas, in his office last month, "It's such a beautiful day, I don't know how you can be stuck indoors".
And I replied that he's only been working in paradise every week day for the past 25 years.
Life is all about perspective. Here is a photo looking directly over top of my monitors this morning. Admittedly, it is a beautiful view, but I only took notice because the sun was catching my eye, which distracted me from work.
But it shouldn't because, as you know, I'm retired. :-)
