"Year of the Metals" confirmed, Tues., Jan. 31, 2006, 1:26 PM

Earlier this year, I forecasted 2006 as the Year of the Metals. Today, which is the end of Month One, the excellent commodities research group at UBS published a Commodities Report that gives substantial evidence that the miners cannot keep up to global demand for product. That's the thing with physicals like Zinc, Copper, Gold and Silver, etc; it's a very long cycle, i.e., gap between demand and supply.
