Travelling man, Tues., Jan. 31, 2006, 5:35 AM

If you don't like travelling, you ought to stay at home. As for me, I'd much rather stay at home. One year I travelled about 100,000 miles by air, and another about 6,000 miles (in 90 days) by Winnebago -- on business. Today, I don't even like to go downtown to the Financial District, a short ten miles away.

So this month I spent a week in Nassau Bahamas for R&R, and this weekend (after I get WIR finished), I'm planning to go to Freeport Bahamas for a couple days. Strictly personal.

Then I'm going to spend four days March 5-8 at the Prospectors & Developers convention in Toronto, which is only as I say ten miles away, which is enough to make me move into a hotel that week. You see I really don't like to travel anymore.

I'd rather stay on my home computer at 5 in the morning. But sometimes duty calls.

Anyway, my hotel of choosing for those of you who happen to travel to Toronto and need to be located in the heart of the downtown Financial District and, like me, like the ambiance of a very small European-style hotel, I recommend the Victoria Hotel.
