Brazil stocks down sharply, Tues., Jan. 10, 2006, 9:15 AM
Three hours ahead of NY time, the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange's benchmark Bovespa index is down sharply on the day. At 12:12pm local time (9:12 am ET), the Brazil market was down "1.63 pct to 34,761.63.
Just like the Japanese and India equity markets, which have also been over-heated in recent months, traders are advised to keep an eye on the Brazil market later today and tomorrow morning to see if a trend reversal is in process.
Presently I am working on a database of all key NYSE-traded Brazil stocks for use in a regular PDF report.
