I must be missing something, Tues., Dec. 6, 2005, 3:17 PM

I'm sitting at lunch looking across at the Bloomberg monitor...

"Housing market bubble bursts in U.S. $476 billion high-risk mortgage bond market"...

"U.S. Retailers report worse weekly sales in two months, slow season..."...

"Dow 30 +81 points..."...

Am I missing something?

Is somebody trying to whisper in my ear that Thursday's M3 is going to be a doozy?

I think that little birdie in your ear may have something there regarding M3.

It wouldn't surprise me to see a sell the news on friday. Meaning, gold rallies into the close on Thursday. After the close they release the money supply data which may be bullish on gold, yet it will sell off. I hope it does, I like sales ;-)
