Oct-05 web stats ended with a boom, Tues., Nov. 1, 2005, 7:02 AM

This morning James told me I had 269,000 hits yesterday (Hallowe'en), which is kind of scary really. And I had a goal of 1 million hits a day by July 2006, which no longer seems so far away.

Anyway, from now on, James will take care of all those discussions re stats, and website changes, and PR and MarketRhythm programming, and so on, which was starting to overwhelm me (and boring you), so I promise to stick to my knitting from this point forward.

Whatever happens will happen. It's not going to change me one iota, except that maybe it'll be harder to tell people (with a straight face) that I'm retired".
