Econ 101 for today, Tues., Nov. 15, 2005, 8:31 AM
The U.S. Retail Sales and PPI data is now out (8:30am).
Sales were better than expected.
PPI was worse than expected.
Expect the PPI number to be widely spun to a positive. It's not.
I expect bonds to be softer, and the USD to get stronger today.
This week is a heavy duty one for me in planning/implementing changes to this website/blog. I need to blog less, unfortunately.
