The S&P 500 index failed to hit my on-close stop-buy @ 1210. Thank you, thank you, thank you. It had been over 1211 with about 15 minutes to go.
Well, I guess you saw that I had the cigars coming out of the humidor.
Tomorrow I have Greenspan saddled and ready to send to the starter's gate at 2:15pm. That makes me, as the Bulls well know, the prohibitive favorite tomorrow.
Whew! That was a close call. And did you take note that the Dow closed up just +37 after being up (I think) +82 or more during the session.

In amazing fashion, the Dow 30 futures dropped 95 points in 30 mintues from 3:45 to 4:15, wiping out all of the day's gains. Sure looks like the big players were vaccuming up those end-of-month 401(k) contributions.
