Mortgage rates are rising, Thurs., Oct. 13, 2005, 3:04 PM

It was just 11:26am this morning that I wrote that bond yields were on the move higher, and that mortgage rates were soon to follow. AP/Yahoo have just reported the bad news for home-owners in search of mortgages, or those who have Adjustable Rate Mortgages (ARM).

The so-called real estate "wealth effect" is now going to start working in reverse.
