MarketWatch cheerleading the Wave, Sun., Oct. 30, 2005, 4:19 PM

In exactly 41 minutes I shall be receiving a NewsWatch Alert from the people at MarketWatch. It will state precisely the following:

NewsWatch: With turnaround in place, Schwab faces next act
By MarketWatch, 10/30/2005 5:00:00 PM
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Chuck wants to talk. Complete Story...

How is it that I can be so presumptive of news reporting by Dow Jones & Co?

Well as you know I happen to be an alert" trend & cycles analyst, and I am relying on the precise same "alert" message being delivered to me at 5:00:00 PM as it was at:
10/30/2005 12:00:00 PM
10/30/2005 9:00:00 AM
10/29/2005 5:00:00 PM
10/29/2005 12:00:00 PM
10/29/2005 9:00:00 AM

I mentioned this in my Week in Review yesterday, which I published after 5:00 PM. And yes, I am surprised that MarketWatch somehow thinks I didn't get it the first time. I got it, and I get it.

Actually, this incident plays to my point made in WIR and the WIR Backgrounder article about how the mass media will start the Wave.

But we'll just have to wait until 5:00:00 PM to see if MarketWatch is six for six.
