International indices down sharply again, Thur., Oct. 6, 2005, 6:47 AM

The East Asian/Pacific equity markets are closed now, but the markets there were very weak yet again: Australia down "2.1 pct, Hong Kong down "2.1 pct, India down "2.3 pct, Japan down "2.4 pct and South Korea down -2.0 pct.

European equity markets are still in mid-session as I write, but there is widespread weakness there too, for another day: France down "1.5 pct, Germany down "1.6 pct, Italy down "1.0 pct, and UK down "1.3 pct.

Traders around the world are starting to recognize the risks they face in trading equities. America is still the economic engine to the world, and the problems there are finally being understood by all.
