Finding my rhythm today, Fri, September 9, 2005, 8:59 AM
Some readers and business associates were probably surprised at receiving mail from me at 3:30-4:00am overnight, but I have fallen out of my rhythm.
Now I just awoke for the second time. Normally it's between 5 and 6am. I feel I've missed half a day and don't know where to start.
I first have to get an important letter agreement draft out, and so I may not even get started today until close to noon.
But I'll be talking about IIF in response to reader mail " sent to another blog perhaps because I cut off reader mail to this one. Next week I intend to change back to the former system.
I'm also going to address the subject of inflation today because the report released this hour on Import and Export Prices for August reflect a continuation of the pattern of inflationary trends for Americans.
And John Cowie notified me of last evening's flood of mail" " presumably to continue for a couple days " regarding the beta testing of the new Market Rhythms report he is constructing and will administrate for me. Thank you to those who are volunteering.
On my monitor, I see that Gold is up +1.60 to 452.30 on the Dec-05 contracts. Dow 30 futures are up +24.
