September 8, 2005

Back in the office, Thurs., September 8, 2005, 1:48 PM

I returned on time, as expected, from my outside meeting. However, a two-hour return trip within the city is not my idea of proper time management. I can't wait until I move to a tropic isle, and say goodbye to the DVP/401 parking lot that surrounds Toronto.

Anyway, my market clock told me the time was right to get back to the blog. You see the Dow 30 is down "35 points, and at 6:38am ET this morning I wrote to you that I'd be back after lunchtime when the Dow 30 index would be down (drum roll please) "35 points.

You can't believe how much it cost me to put that index where I thought it would make me look good... or how much it cost me to put Gold Dec-05 contracts up to $451.

But, since I do this free, your simple appreciation is more than sufficient. ;-)

The bad news, as I discovered at this morning's meeting, is that Market Rhythms will take 3-4 weeks to complete an alpha test, another 1-2 weeks to complete a beta test, then a further week to complete the roll-out.

We are now planning to go full-out live by Tuesday November 1.

The good news is that I will be asking a select few of you to help me out with the beta test. You'll be the first to see something I don't believe is available anywhere on the Internet. More on this later.
