So Cramer likes Banco Bradesco? Tues., August 23, 2005, 6:53 PM

So Cramer likes Banco Bradesco too? He must have peeked at my Cara Global Best 100 Companies list for there in my 1Q05 review (GICS 45) is BBD. I could say I had it at the top of the list; but that's just because the list is in alpha order. :-)

The ones I like longer-term (but not this quarter), based on proven management and financial strength, are: BBD, C, CBAUF, DB, DNSKF, ET (marginally), FITB, GDW, GS, HBC, KB, KRB, LEH, MFC, RBSPF, RY, UOVEY, and WBK (alpha order)."

Would I buy BBD (which trades on the NYSE as an ADR) today? No, and neither should you.

You see Cramer has picked a solid company for all the right reasons. This Brazilian bank is in a list of the best performers in the world. But the time to buy was in the 1Q05.

In any event, BBD is on my select list, and after the global equity market corrects, and the financial group look stronger, I shall be in buying BBD.

And I'll let you know at the time.

In the meantime, here is my GICS Sector 40 monitor at ADVFN. Why not set up the same one?
