Gold Dec-05 contracts are up +4.70 to $446.70. The USD is very weak.

Bill,
Do you expect the trade deficit numbers to weaken the dollar ?
Is there a link between the retai sales number and the trade deficit ? Also, since we are at the end of the back to school summer season, will the deficit numbers be treated as history and not acted upon ?
