Canada, Brazil ETFs doing well, Tues., August 30, 2005, 2:02 PM

The Brazilian real and Cdn loonie are known as petro-dollars, so traders are putting USD into those equity markets. This real-time monitor shows that of the key country ETFs I follow daily, only Canada and Brazil are above water. (bad pun) :-(

Those equity markets have been flying and will continue to do so as long as the crude reality has oil over $60-65 a barrel.

Bill,

As a Canadian I was just informed by my discount broker that there really is not much available in bear funds for us to take advantage of declining markets. I find this really hard to believe.

Is this true or do some discount brokers offer such funds (i.e. Rydex Tempest Fund).

Thanking you in advance.
