Brazil is ‘hot' today, Fri., August 5, 2005, 9:58 AM
Only 1 of 30 Brazil-based stocks that trade on the NYSE, which I keep on my ADVFN real-time market monitor, are down in the first few minutes of trading today.
Given that the NYSE Composite is down "25 points (i.e., about a third of a pct) at this point, that's a sparkling result for Brazil.
I like Brazil, as you know; but traders have to be extremely careful as to timing.

I went to a lecture on the global economies given by Henry Kissinger several months ago. He was a fascinating speaker and he discussed many of the economies around the world. He listed Brazil as one of the top three global economies which is ripe for investment and is ready to take off.
That sort of trading/investing is not in the realm of what we do in our fund but it looks very interesting.
