A look at Asian markets, Fri., August 12, 2005, 7:39 AM

So the Stockman likes Japan (EWJ), Korea (EWY), and Taiwan (EWT) ETFs. I hope it's not just because Europe is getting smashed this morning, and who knows what's to come in the America's.

But I digress.

Traders ought to look at the whole region, so here are charts of various ETF's and closed-end funds that trade in south and east Asia.

Asia-Pacific Funds

China Funds

India Funds

Japan Funds

Korea Funds

Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand Funds

Other than to say caveat emptor, I'll let my readers comment.

For each of these charts, you can click on different time frames and use different technical indicators. That's a worthwhile exercise.

P.S., just so you don't miss it, the Stockman has replied, and I agree fully with his point. I have been making the same:

"Stockman favors less popular Asian markets relative to more popular India and/or U.S. and European equities. Favorite longs: cash, and metals"
