All well that ends well, Thursday, May 19, 2005, 3:34 PM

At 1:30pm I'm on the operating table; but by 3:30pm I'm home and able to say that all's well that in the end is well (pun intended). There was a polyp burned off and one that needs a biopsy, but I'll find out about that in two weeks. The good news is that the doc thinks I'm in great shape. 120 over 70 bp going in and 118 over 70 coming out. Cool. I feel like a gazillion bucks, and I tell you, having been through the drill a couple times, everybody should be doing this. Colon cancer can be ugly, but it can be nipped early with the proper tests.

As for the Dow I see it's up +20 and the 10-year T-Note is yielding 4.11. I'll be back Friday to discuss.

Glad to hear you made it through what I call the human faucet procedure. It's ugly but necessary, I suppose. I have similar family history (not on my dad's side though) and have been through the routine only one time so far, but intend to repeat it as prescribed.

In your comments regarding the Gnomes, are you referring to the unusually low yield on the 10-year?

Cheers,
Dan
