USD Head-Fake, Monday, March 14, 2005, 6:55 AM
The USD is up strongly against most currencies this morning. The strength started before midnight ET (GMT-5). As a consequence, early Gold bullion is off about $3.00. This is a head-fake.
U.S. equity futures are up as well as the USD, but like the buck, equity bulls are likely in for a tough day, I think.
